If I don't have a degree in environmental studies or sustainability, will HG still be right for me?

We strongly recommend that you have some experience in green practices, sustainability or environmental stewardship. Our work with the public and private sector always concerns some form of environmental consulting services. Our first priority is to solve our client's issues, but our expertise and experience is in environmental practices and sustainability so our solutions always have an environmentally sustainable foundation. Whether Hospitality Green is the right choice depends on the individual, but to succeed at Hospitality Green a "green" focus is essential. How much travel can I expect?

As a Hospitality Green consultant, you can expect to travel 15-20% of the time. Almost all of our firm's clients are located east of the Mississippi River and North of Virginia, with concentrations in New York and Delaware.

How is HG's business doing?

We are a rapidly expanding firm in a rapidly expanding industry. We receive more consulting requests than we can provide at this time and therefore must choose our engagements carefully. By only choosing client engagements where we know our expertise can be successful, we have been able to build a reputation for providing creative and result-bearing solutions. Since our establishment in 2008, we have annually doubled our employees and revenue. Because the majority of our client engagements are written one or two years in advance we can say with certainty that we will continue to grow at such a rate until at least 2014. We intend to continue carving out a niche for ourselves in this competitive market and look forward to providing our clients with the service they have come to expect.

How much choice is there in project assignments?

As an Associate your breadth of assignments is only restricted by your expertise and ability. If an assignment seems out of your comfort zone but you can prove to us your capability in contributing to the team, we will absolutely give you a chance. As a Principal Expert, your expertise is more concentrated and therefore your projects will require your unique expertise and experience. We urge you to review our careers page for more information.
